Wordless Wednesday

A small delicate flower found in a restored native Texas prairie.  The prairie had been recently mowed (to simulate grazing by large herd animals), but a few flowers survived.

  1. Hi Sherry - Sorry to have been missing for a while - a busy end of summer, and vacation. Hope you are doing well! This sweet little flower is so pretty - how can it survive living in a pasture of large animals? Wild flowers are some of the most beautiful specimens, always so delicate and small. These are simple and pretty! I love the label title - Prairie Flower.

    1. Thank you Beverly for always visiting and taking a minute to leave a nice comment. I took a "break" but unplanned - life got in the way. Trying to get back into the groove of regularly posting.

This prairie was restored/preserved - I wish I knew what the name of the flower - it was very delicate and stood out among the grasses.
